What This Role Owns
This isn’t just a warehouse management role. This is operational leadership.
You will take ownership of the entire warehouse function, including:
  • Leading daily warehouse operations to ensure materials are staged, accurate, and ready for field teams
  • Building and enforcing strong inventory control systems to maintain accuracy and material availability
  • Overseeing purchasing and vendor relationships, ensuring materials arrive when they should and at the right cost
  • Designing and maintaining structured tool and asset management systems
  • Working closely with accounting and department leaders to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Developing standardized processes, operational benchmarks, and efficiency improvements
  • Tracking KPIs and using data to drive better decision-making and operational improvements
  • Building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing warehouse team
  • Driving warehouse modernization initiatives including system improvements and workflow optimization
  • Ensuring strong safety standards and operational discipline across the facility

The Skills Needed To Be Successful
  • Proven success in a senior warehouse leadership role
  • Experience in electrical supply, construction materials, or a similar high-volume industry preferred
  • Strong expertise in inventory control systems and warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Experience overseeing purchasing, vendor negotiations, and supplier management
  • Ability to implement structured tool control and asset tracking systems
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track KPIs and improve operational performance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse software systems
