Teague Electric

Lead Generator Technician / Project Manager

Residential Services - Lenexa, KS - Full Time

Teague Electric has been powering Kansas City for over 40 years, and we’re not slowing down. We’ve built our reputation on precision, reliability, and doing things the right way. Our team is made up of some of the best electricians in the industry, and we’re continuing to raise the bar by bringing in high-caliber talent who take pride in their work.

We’re looking for experienced Generator Technicians ready to step into a Project Manager / Lead Installer role. This is a hands-on position for someone who understands backup power systems, takes ownership of their work, and can lead installations while coordinating projects.

This role offers a clear path into a full-time Project Manager position, with the opportunity to mentor and develop the next generation of installers and service technicians. Long-term, this position evolves beyond the tools into leading project coordination, helping scale the generator division, and driving growth through customer upgrades and expanded services.

If you’re someone who wants more than just running service calls and instead wants to build something, this is that opportunity!

  • Experience with liquid-cooled and air-cooled generator systems
  • Kohler and/or Generac certifications strongly preferred

  • Experience installing and maintaining residential and commercial-grade generators
  • Entry-level experience in project coordination or job management is a plus

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record

What You’ll Be Doing
